Alisa Borland began piano lessons at Thomas Walls School of Music when she was 6. She then branched off and continued her lessons at the Algoma Conservatory where she also began studying flute. With a strong passion for music, Alisa continued on to achieve a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music, Cum Laude, from Algoma University. She holds a grade 10 RCM level on both piano and flute, has learned guitar and trumpet, and has experience teaching for 10 years. During her time at university, she pursued writing progressive rock music, and now performs regularly with the band ‘The Wild Iris" at local venues & music festivals. Alisa also enjoys playing with the classical trio "Classic Bows" at weddings and special events. Alisa teaches piano & flute in styles ranging from pop to rock, to classical music.
